Hospitals is a tool that allows NHS staff and other professionals swiftly locate the contact details of any hospital within the United Kingdom. The user can search for the required hospital either from the expandable contents list or by using the search form. Once a hospital is identified the user can then email the hospital directly from Hospitals or add the hospital's details to the user's contacts. Alternatively, the user can email multiple hospitals or add multiple contacts by selecting the required hospitals from the search screen.
Hospitals is comprised of four main functional components:
• Hospitals - shows the contact details and organisation types of the hospitals in the UK, along with email and website addresses
• Search All - allows the user to search all hospitals by organisation name, organisation code, organisation id, parent name and sector.
• Emailer - allows the user to email one or more selected hospitals. Emails may be sent as "To" or as "Bcc" depending on the user's preference.
• Contacts - allows the user to add one or more selected hospitals' details to contacts.
