- Scan a (surveillance) video for human faces - If you have a surveillance video (3G2, 3GP, DV, M4V, MOV, MPEG, MP4, MPG), Look4Faces 2 is a quick and easy solution to finding frames containing facial objects. You can use not just a local video clip but also a video file located at a remote server through the HTTP or HTTPS protocol. If you believe in ghosts, try using Look4Faces 2 to find video frames containing tiny ghostly spirit images that you could easily miss if you manually scrub a video. - What's new - 1. The user can use a video file on a remote server. 2. MPEG and other movie formats are supported. 3. The user can see rectangular facial regions. 4. It's been developed from a scratch in Swift. - Features - 1. Open and load a local video clip by dragging and dropping one directly onto the video player. 2. Select an interval between which to scan frames containing human faces. 3. Scan a video file located at a remote server to detect one or more facial objects. 4. Save a video file located at a remote server to your disk. 5. Find rectangular, facial regions in color. 6. Save the selected screenshot to the shared folder. 7. Click on the 'How to Use Look4Faces 2' button over the home screen. - System requirements - 1. 10.11 (tested with 10.11.6), 10.12 (tested with 10.12.6), 10.13 (tested with 10.13.1) 2. 64-bit system 3. Internet connection in case of accessing a video file located at a remote server - Limitations - 1. The RTSP protocol is not supported for a video file located at a remote server. The address to a video file on a remote server must be accessed with the HTTP or the HTTPS protocol. 2. HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) is not supported. 3. A local video clip must have one of the following movie formats: 3G2, 3GP, DV, M4V, MOV, MPEG, MP4, MPG. 4. The facial recognition API is not perfect. If a video frame has a round object with a couple of dots or more inside, it can be falsely identified as a face. One example of false recognition is a car tire with bolts inside. A face is defined as the front part of one's head with two eyes and a mouth. If a person only shows one of his or her eyes, their face can be missed.
