Rapidly create beautiful, high-fidelity mockups of iOS, iPad and iPhone applications with Mocks. Mocks is an modern, native app for Mac OS X that gives you special tools to design mockups of iOS applications and screens. Mocks comes with a built-in collection of graphics depicting iOS icons, UI controls, and widgets (like buttons, toolbars, and text fields). Drag these controls from the Library palette on the left to the central Canvas area where you compose your mockups. Alignment guides (both automatic, and user-created) help you keep your designs in line. Every Mocks composition is a multi-page document supporting modern features like Autosave, Version Browsing, Full-Screen Mode, QuickLook and iCloud Document Storage. Page thumbnails appear in a vertical palette on the far left of every window, giving you an overview of the contents of all pages simultaneously. Mocks also includes many of the essential features you expect from a Diagramming or vector graphics application. Including a powerful Bézier Path pen tool plus a large collection of shapes, arrows, images, and magnetic lines which automatically resize and move along with the shapes to which they are connected. Mocks is great for Programmers and Designers looking for a simple tool for quickly designing iOS UI mockups, laying out wireframes, or visualizing model relationships. Mocks lets you get to work quickly by giving you just the important tools you need in a slick, single-window, thoroughly Mac-native UI. *** Important note on Mocks 2 and compatibility *** Mocks 2 is not a free upgrade from prior versions of Mocks. Mocks has always been very inexpensive, and up to this point I've offered many new features via free updates. With Mocks 2, it's unfortunately time to finally break that cycle. Mocks 2 is $9.99. As Mocks was previously so inexpensive, there is no upgrade pricing available for Mocks 2. Mocks 2 will not support the old .mocks file format from earlier versions of Mocks. You will not be able to edit or open files created in earlier versions of Mocks using Mocks 2. Mocks 2 supports a new file format, called .mocksdoc which is not supported by earlier versions of Mocks. The new file format handles embedded images far more efficiently than the old format. Given all of that, Mocks 2 should basically be thought of as a brand new app. After 3 years of free updates for a $10 app, I feel that this is within reason. Thank you for your continued support of indie Mac software developers.
