Tapes is a fully functional audio recorder/player/editor for your mac. Yet, it behaves exactly like an analog tape deck that you had back in the old days. You will be happy to know that all the familiar features and buttons are replicated here: • Rec, Play, FFwd, Rew, Stop, Pause and Eject • Volume meter • Play clock • Dual speakers • Realistic cassette tapes More than just a recorder and audio player, Tapes can also be used to edit audio just like how you edit your analog tapes. Simply fast-forward or rewind to the tape location where the edit starts, and overwrite the old audio with your new recording.
