vmAIS is an installation and configuration tool for your Vesper Marine AIS transponder. It enables you to connect to your AIS transponder over USB or WIFI to do the following:
– Configure your Vessel’s AIS Static Data. (MMSI, Call Sign, Vessel Type, Vessel Size).
– View your AIS Transponder’s own GPS position, position accuracy, course and speed.
– Configure GPS smoothing, fast updates, SBAS control and COG/SOG averaging.
– Check the operational status of your AIS Transponder.
– Configure your WIFI settings.
– I/O status and setup control.
– External alarm test mode for testing your alarm setup.
– NMEA 0183 output port data control.
– Switch easily between Silent Mode and Normal Transmitting mode.
– Check the operational status of your NMEA 2000 bus, configure settings and adjust PGN transmit, receive.
– Serial stream view of NMEA data.
– Update your transponder firmware.
