WHY? If you’re like us, you probably have a decent-sized digital collection of books, comics, graphic novels, magazines, or manuals, stored on one or more Macs. One thing we find frustrating is remembering if we have a specific book, comic issue, or some magazine, in our collection, and where it might be if we do. What we wanted was a handy app to keep track of these for us, without having to manually search through folders on our Macs or hunting through various backup archives. It should be a quick and handy reference. And instead of copying or moving the whole digital book, only a preview of the cover, and book information, should be kept in the catalog. FEATURES Yes, Please... – Add books to a Category by selecting individual files. – Catalog books, comics, magazines, manuals, and more. – Currently, only PDF files can be added to the catalog. – Delete a selected book from a category in your Library. – Designed for macOS with a clean and simple interface. – Disabled items are not ‘Pro’ upgrades, but coming soon! – Double-click a book to open in the default app to view it. – Edit basic book information in the sidebar Editor pane. – Only folders or files chosen by you are added to your Library. – Use the window in default size, zoomed, or in full-screen. – View a list of book and file information in the Details pane. – Your Library ‘catalog’ is always automatically updated. Hmmm, No!... – Does not copy the whole book, only references to it. – No advertising, analytics, or any of that nonsense. – No limited options that require an in-app purchase. – No lite or pro versions. What you see is what you get. – No sign-in required. Use it offline whenever you like. – No subscriptions. Pay once and get future updates. – No user data is collected, stored, or transmitted. – Not a comic book reader, yet. Maybe sometime later. COMING SOON... – Add comic book formats such as CBR and CBZ archives. – Backup or restore a saved archive of your ‘Library’. – Create a new ‘Library’ and replace the current catalog. – Full book ‘Editor’ for editing detailed book information. – More features such as editing and reading comic archives.
